The Burma Blanket | Indigo
The rarest and most exclusive of the Mr. Merz collection, the Burma Blanket depicts the daily life of Chin Tribal women in northern Myanmar. Used as ceremonial blankets, these pieces look wonderful across a bed or back of a couch.
Taking three months to make, each piece is handwoven on a wooden loom and than hand embroidered. The weaver determines the story–meaning no two are a like. A maximum of 15 pieces are produced each month.
